Welcome to our Staff Spotlight! We'd like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our staff members. This month we are spotlight Mario Diaz, the Secretary of the Board here at Moving Well Project.
1. What is your role with MWP?
I serve as the Secretary of the Board.
2. What makes you passionate about the work you do?
I believe we all deserve to live with dignity and respect. I believe basic human rights are not guaranteed and must therefore be fought for and protected.
3. Why MWP?
MWP’s focus on addressing mental health services to vulnerable communities aligns with my personal and professional values. Over the years, there has been increasing awareness on the importance of addressing and treating mental health, not just physical health. I’m proud to be part of a team that is forward thinking and is impassioned by empowering vulnerable communities to live healthier lives.

My niece and nephew, my friends, and old Simpsons episodes!
